Ni People is fascinated by the expression of cultural identity, protecting and re-invention this identity as resistance to a globalized world. Through textiles and clothing from rural areas they want to encourage local creatives, to create means free of tourism.
Because of the protection measures due to COVID-19 Ni People was forced to speed up the process of including 3D technology in their business model. It helps them in design and to overcome limitations such as geographical distances, material waste and high production costs. With The Visuals it became possible to recreate hand-woven fabrics and garments and present them in an artistic way to the audience. Ni People used the 3D designs for internal/extern communication and for production purposes.
